Electronic engine controls provide a smooth and functional alternative to conventional mechanical controls. The addition of engine synchronisation is a welcome feature. The control head mounting is compact and does not require depth underneath to allow for mechanical control cables. The installation of a second helm control unit is a simple single cable plug in.
However, "breaking in" to the engine manufacturers wiring loom to make connections to the electronic control system can be messy. The Engine Interface Board provides a plug and play solution that is neat, tidy, compact and reliable.

Built in fusing for control power to the engines and control actuators is provided. The unit is supplied with interconnecting multi core cables with the following standard lengths.
- Board to Engine: 2 metres x 2
- Board to Controller: 2 metres x 2
- Board to Keystart:5 metres x2
- Board to trim switch: 1 metre x 1
Cable lengths can be custom made for an additional fee of $30.00 per additional cable metre. We currently support Suzuki outboards. Please contact us for other outboard manufacturer applications.
