The CAV FAS type fuel filters, using the CAV 296 filter cartridge were designed originally to suit either petrol or diesel fuel. The current range of CAV 296 filter cartridges now available are for diesel fuels only. This Ryco petrol filter cartridge suits the CAV FAS type diesel fuel filter, replacing the CAV 296 cartridge, converting it to suit petrol. This filter is suitable for straight petrol and pre mixed two stroke fuels, where the oil is pre mixed with the petrol.
