The Shore Power Inlet Facility provides a connection facility between the vessel and the 240 volt AC supply at the marina or private dock. Versions are available for single pole and dual pole systems.
It incorporates an IP66 rated (weatherproof) enclosure containing an input power cord receptacle, double pole circuit breaker and indicating lamp. The individual components are supplied mounted and ready for wiring by an electrical contractor.
The MEN version adds a relay that maintains an MEN source connection for use with inverters that are designed to inherit the MEN from the AC source.
The RP version adds reverse polarity protection for vessels that do not incorporate a complete dual pole electrical system.

Australian law requires that the vessel AC installation is installed and tested by a licensed electrical contractor. It is always the responsibility of the installing electrician to ensure that the system meets the applicable country standard.
