Dash - wall - navigation station mounting panel for Apple iPad.
The ready to mount iPad panel securely fixes the iPad to a wall, dash or navigation station. It mounts the iPad as if it was a standard panel mount instrument. A cable path is provided for the standard Apple USB power connector. Although designed for marine applications, the mounting system can be used anywhere for mounting the iPad to a flat surface.
Our standard panel material is resistant to smudging, scratching, corrosion, UV light, glare, reflection, moisture, fire and just about anything that you can throw at it. The iPad can be mounted in either portrait or landscape mode. Unlike other mounting systems, all iPad controls are accessable.
A cutout measuring 205 x 300 mm is required in the mounting surface where the panel is held in place by four self tapping screws. The iPad is held in place on the panel by two clamps that are secured by screws accessable only from the back side of the panel. One clamp (bottom or right hand side) covers the iPad USB power connector. The iPad can be removed by unscrewing the top clamp - however access to the back of the panel is required.
Overall dimensions are 230 mm wide x 325 mm high.
Note: The iPad and the mounting system must be located in a weather proof area and is not intended for outside use. The iPad and power cable are not included. Other custom mounting systems are available on request.
