Payment - Shipping - Returns
On completion of your order you have the option to pay by credit card or by bank transfer. We do not charge any credit card fees. Payment for international shipments is by bank transfer only and will incur an international payment fee.
Packing and Freight
The fee charged for shipping includes an allowance for packing, freight and transit insurance. All shipments include tracking to your nominated shipping address. In the event that delivery is delayed you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order. Extra fees from the freight company may be applicable if the goods can not be received at your nominated shipping address.
Inspection of Goods
It is your responsibility to check the completeness of the shipment against what was ordered and listed on the Tax Invoice. Any visible damage to packaging must be documented (photograph taken) and notification made to the freight courier. Outback Marine must be advised in writing (email) along with proof of damage within one day of receiving the shipment.
You are responsible to advise us by email within 24 hours of receiving the goods of any discrepency in the shipment contents so that the list of received goods can be compared to our records of what was sent. If we do not receive notification within 24 hours of your receipt of the goods, the shipment will be deemed "delivered in full". We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items stolen, lost or damaged after delivery has taken place.
Warranty Refunds and Returns
Outback Marine abides by the Australian Consumer Rights & Guarantees policy. As a reminder, if you just change your mind about a purchase for a period up to 7 days from date of purchase, we can provide a refund of the money paid for your purchase less a restocking fee of 20% provided that the goods are returned in "as shipped" condition including unmarked original packaging. We do not accept returns for goods after 7 days from date of purchase. Any refund will be made in the same way as you originally paid and will be processed against the original credit cardholder details. Always contact Outback Marine by email and wait for our instructions before returning any goods.
