Dual-Alternator Multi-Stage Voltage Regulator for 12V Marine Charging Systems

Provides microprocessor-controlled multi-stage charging for single-engine marine installations using two alternators to charge the same large battery bank. Two independent field outputs, power inputs and system ground connections allow the regulator to control both alternators simultaneously, while selectable charging programs accommodate Deep Cycle Flooded, Standard Flooded, Gel, AGM, Spiral Wound AGM and LiFePO4 batteries. A universal default program is also provided for vessels using voltage-sensitive halogen equipment. Optional temperature sensing can monitor both alternators and the battery bank, with active regulation responding to changing temperatures to protect charging components. This regulator-only version does not include wiring harnesses or the fused battery sense pigtail.
