Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger

The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is a professional DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth.

The Victron connect app allows full program support of the Engine On Detection that controls charging from smart alternators.

The Victron Orion-TR DC-DC Chargers are available in either Isolated or Non-Isolated. The Isolated version has a separate galvanically isolated negative input and output, while the non-isolated has a common negative. Generally speaking, one only needs the isolated model when the negatives within the installation do not share a common negative return path, such as may be the case on many fibreglass and wood boats that don't have a chassis and may not have a common grounding bus to which all your battery banks connect to.
