Quality Assurance:
The Invicta Xero 12V 120Ah LiFePO4 Battery is part of Invicta's esteemed range of lithium batteries, notable for achieving two levels of IEC certification, underscoring its superiority in safety and performance standards. This includes the IEC 62619 certification on selected models, including this product, and IEC 62133/UL 1642 across the entire range. These certifications are a testament to Invicta's commitment to quality, safety, and reliability in its lithium battery products.
IEC 62619 Certification: The IEC 62619 certification is a rigorous independent assessment that evaluates the safety and performance of the entire lithium battery, encompassing all its cells and the Battery Management System (BMS). The Invicta Xero 12V 120Ah LiFePO4 Battery, being certified under this standard, has undergone extensive testing to ensure it does not internally short-circuit or propagate. It has also been verified to withstand high-impact events, thermal abuse (including extreme heat and cold), and over-charge or over-discharge situations. Furthermore, an annual factory audit ensures that the components and manufacturing processes remain at the highest quality standards.
IEC 62133/UL 1642 Certification: The IEC 62133/UL 1642 certification covers the entire range of Invicta lithium batteries and focuses on the safety and performance of the individual cells within the battery. This level of certification is crucial as it guarantees the fundamental safety and performance aspects of the cells themselves. Invicta's adherence to this certification across its product range demonstrates a baseline of safety and reliability that many other batteries lack, highlighting the importance of verifying claimed certifications.
Choosing the Invicta Xero 12V 120Ah LiFePO4 Battery ensures that users are selecting a product that not only meets but exceeds the stringent requirements of international safety standards. With dual certifications in IEC 62619 for comprehensive battery safety and performance, and IEC 62133/UL 1642 for cell-level assurance, Invicta showcases its leadership in providing secure, reliable, and high-performing energy solutions. These certifications reflect Invicta's holistic approach to safety, from the individual cells to the entire battery system, ensuring users benefit from the highest levels of quality and reliability in their applications
CONNECTING TO THE CERBO GX
- To set up the comms network you must connect the battery bank up via series or parallel power connections and daisy chain the battery to battery communication cables from the last battery in the systems link in port to the next batteries link out port and so on, until you reach the first battery in the bank which will be programmed to be the master in terms of communication.
- At this point the master battery has the link in comms port free to be connected to an external device.
- Now you open the Invicta Legion application and select wired connection and follow the steps to name the system, select voltage platform, series connections and finally parallel connections.
- You will now be prompted to select master battery. This is done by pressing and holding the grey re-set button located on the LED indicator strip of the battery for 20 seconds.
- Once the grey button is released the LED indicator strip lights will start to chase each other in a line on all the batteries in the system for 60 seconds. (if LED lights only flash on and off repeatedly, try again and hold button for longer to get chasing lights)
- Once the LED lights come to a stop the system is networked and IP addresses have been allocated to each battery.
- You complete the set up by selecting the serial number of the master battery on the legion application, your screen will change to green battery symbols with addresses in them, hit next step.
- Now your screen will show the system and all capacities as one, you can also look at individual batteries by tapping Mode on the top right-hand corner, then tapping the battery you want to check.
- The battery bank is now set up and networking complete. Now connect the master battery to your Cerbo GX or inverter via the link in port to the RJ45 BMS CAN port on the device.
- The Cerbo or inverter will auto detect the battery bank and now SOC information should be present on connected devices. Further programming can now be done using an HMI screen.
