Serpentine Alternator Pulley for Cummins Marine Engine Charging Systems

The Balmar Serpentine Pulley is a replacement alternator drive component for compatible Cummins marine engine charging systems using a K-8 serpentine belt configuration. Featuring a 2.4-inch outside diameter and 17mm shaft bore, it transfers rotational power from the engine belt drive to the alternator. Its multi-groove profile accommodates an 8-rib serpentine belt, supporting consistent belt engagement and power transmission. The Cummins-specific configuration makes it suitable for alternator maintenance, pulley replacement and compatible belt-drive installations.

Key Features

• Serpentine Belt Compatibility: Features a K-8 groove profile for use with matching multi-rib serpentine drive belts.
• Alternator Shaft Fitment: Manufactured with a 17mm bore for mounting on compatible alternator shafts.
• Pulley Diameter: Features a 2.4-inch outside diameter for applications requiring this pulley size.
• Cummins Application: Specifically listed for compatible Cummins engine alternator drive configurations.
• Multi-Rib Belt Engagement: Accommodates an 8-rib serpentine belt for mechanical power transmission between the engine and alternator.
• Replacement and Maintenance: Suitable for replacing worn or damaged pulleys in compatible marine alternator installations.

The pulley supports maintenance and configuration of marine alternator drive systems requiring a Cummins-specific serpentine belt arrangement. Alternator shaft dimensions, belt alignment and engine compatibility should be verified before installation.
