Wireless Wind Instrument Package for Real-Time Sailing and Vessel Data

The Garmin GMI 40 Wireless Wind Pack combines a marine instrument display with the gWind Wireless 2 transducer for monitoring wind and compatible vessel data without running wind sensor cables through the mast. The colour touchscreen provides a central interface for viewing wind, heading, speed, depth, engine, fuel and other available network information, while wireless connectivity allows wind data to be transmitted directly from the mast-mounted sensor. NMEA 2000 and Garmin BlueNet integration also allow the instrument to operate as part of a wider compatible marine electronics system.
